Student Administrative Assistant Print E-mail

Description of Work: The Student Administrative Assistant will work off campus in the Austin neighborhood at By The Hand Club For Kids after-school program. Assistant is responsible for assisting program directors in executing tasks and activities for Trinity-Austin and Club for College Kids. Duties include but are not limited to: filing, assisting with mailings, corresponding via telephone and email, and general office duties. Program duties and direct service to youth may be required.

Qualifications: Proficiency in basic clerical skills as well as professional telephone manners, accurate typing, proofreading, and good organizational skills.

Number of Positions: 1

Number of Hours per Week: 15-25

 
Front Desk and Bus Attendant Print E-mail
Attendants will work off campus in either Altgeld Gardens, Austin, Englewood or Cabrini neighborhoods at By The Hand Club For Kids after-school program. Attendants are responsible for; securing and monitoring the entrance of the after-school program site; welcoming youth participants and visitors; ensuring volunteers and guests are properly signed in; accompanying youth on buses to and from the program site; helping to ensure safe travels and arrival of youth; occasionally working special events. Administrative and other expectations may be assigned.

Audio Visual Presentation Tech Print E-mail
Description of Work:  Tech will setup and operate portable A/V presentation systems consisting of laptops (PC and MAC), projectors, flat screen displays, portable screens, and operate basic sound systems.

Qualifications Required:  Previous experience preferred in high school, church, or other organizations A/V department.  Must be able to lift 30 lbs. and ability to communicate well with on campus requestors or outside clients at events.

Audio Visual Maintenance Tech Print E-mail
Description of Work:  The A/V maintenance tech is responsible for weekly cleaning and aligning of projectors and troubleshooting classroom audio visual systems.

Qualification Required:  Candidate must be able to move and stand on a 6-foot ladder as needed.  Working knowledge of computer operations and software smart board proficiency a plus.

Graduate Studies Video Tech Print E-mail
Description of Work:  The operation of the Trinity Graduate Studies video
recording studio.  Tech would operate video switcher and audio maker, saving recording to a server.

Qualifications Required:  Previous experience preferred, in operation of video equipment in television studio familiarity with computer operation and software navigation.

Number of Positions:  1

Number of Hours per Week:  8 (Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6 to 10 pm with occasional Saturdays)

Audio Assistant Print E-mail
Description of Work:  Entrance level Audio Assistant to set up and take down sound equipment for Outcry and the campus Praise and Worship
ministry.

Qualifications Required:  Candidates will learn to set up microphones, personal monitor system, wrap cables, and organize equipment as instructed by lead sound technician.

Number of Hours per Week:  6 (Tuesday and Thursday afternoons from 4 -5:30 pm plus Tuesday and Thursday nights from 10 to 11:30 pm)

Athletics Videographer Print E-mail
Description of Work:  Videography for Trinity athletic events.  Including camera set up, operation, and upload of recorded games.  Additional responsibilities include the streaming of videography to internet server.

Qualifications Required:  Videographer ideally would have some previous experience in video camera operation, be able to lift cases of 40 lbs. and have personal transportation to Route 83 athletic fields.

Senior Nursing Lab Worker Print E-mail

Description of Work:  Manage open lab hours for the nursing lab, set up
and put away equipment as needed, sign off pre-validation tickets for juniors, supervise use of equipment, basic cleaning of lab space, equipment and laundry.  Performing basic inventory.

Qualifications Required:  Senior Level Nursing Student

Physical Plant Print E-mail
The Physical Plant is accepting applications for the 2014-2015 school
year.  No experience needed.  Will train.  Qualified Trinity Driver is a plus but not necessary.  Please go on the Trollweb and under the Physical Plant department go to Student Worker Application.  Please fill out the form and submit to Cindy Sorice.  I will arrange for an interview after reviewing the application. 
 
Student Photographer Print E-mail
Description of Work:  If being paid to take great photos is something you would like to do this semester, the Marketing and Communications Office is seeking a student photographer to record campus events and life on campus. 

Qualifications Required:  Applicants must have a working knowledge of Digital SLR cameras.  Access to your own camera is needed.  Many of the hours are in the evening covering student events and scheduling is flexible.  Assignments are given on a weekly basis.  Skill using Adobe software is encouraged, but not required.

Student Technician Print E-mail
Description of Work:  Serve as Tier 1 tech support for all staff, faculty, and students.  Diagnose and troubleshoot basic hardware and software issues.  Work at the helpdesk and provide technical support onsite and over the phone.  Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications Required:  Freshman or Sophomore status.  Excellent verbal communication skills.  Able to work independently on assigned tasks.  Able to work a minimum of 8 hours per week.  Technically adept.  Eager to learn.
