Description of Work:  Practice and some game coverage; assisting with pre and post practice treatment sessions; first aid care of athletes; clerical duties; laundry and cleaning.

Qualifications:  Must be First Aid, CPR, and AED Certified.  Must have a positive, outgoing attitude and solid work ethic.  Must be willing and available to work some early morning weekday and Saturday shifts.

Physical Plant Student worker Print E-mail
Description of Work: Clean dorms, paint, general maintenance and set up/take down for events and other miscellaneous duties.

Qualifications Required: painting and general maintenance experience is helpful

Wait Staff Print E-mail

Description of Work: Perform wait staff tasks for various size events for ON & OFF campus customers. Some of these tasks include but are not limited to: Setting up & breaking down for banquets, weddings, showers, lunches, dinners, etc. Includes serving food & beverages. Individually responsible for setting up/breaking down some late evening student events and small set ups.

Time Frame: Help needed for summer and fall of 2015.

Hours Per Week: On an as-needed basis

Number of positions: 1-2

Qualifications Required: Must have excellent presentation. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Carry out/implement instructions from catering manager. Good communication skills, utilize time efficiently, punctual.

Pace Van Driver Print E-mail
The City of Palos Heights is looking to hire a driver for a Pace Van.  The student can keep the position as long as they want (hopefully a couple of
years while in school).  The position does include summer employment and
the city is looking to hire right away.  This position does require selected applicant to undergo a physical and health screening (City will pay for it) along with a Saturday Driver's Training Course.;

Hours:  8:30 am to 6 pm Monday through Friday and 10 am to 2 pm on Saturday. 

Hours per week:  10-20 hours per week working around the student's schedule.

Required:  Drivers license (no special license is needed)
