The Financial Aid Office will be hosting three Loan Exit Counseling Sessions.  Loan Exit Counseling is mandatory for all students who borrowed from the Federal Direct Loan Programs, Federal Perkins Loan Program and/or Federal Nursing Loan Program, or who received a Federal TEACH Grant.

During these 30 minute sessions we will review everything you need to know about repaying your federal student loans, including: 1) When repayment will begin; 2) Features of all the repayment plans that are available to you; 3) Budgeting for repayment; 4) What to do if you are struggling to make your monthly payments; and 5) repayment strategies to reduce the amount of interest you will pay.

The sessions will take place during the following times in the computer lab (HSC 015) located on the lower level of the Heritage Science Center:

  • Monday, Nov. 21 at 10:00 am
  • Monday, Nov. 21 at 5:00 pm
  • Tuesday, Nov. 22 at 5:00 pm

Note: If you are participating in the ceremony, but will be enrolled at Trinity in at least 6 credit hours in the spring, you should plan to attend the loan exit counseling sessions that will be offered in April 2017.
